Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Jing Yi Glass and Mirror Inc. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To compile orders and instructions received from customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To plan and organize the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing delays.
  • To revise the type and quantity of materials required for production, construction, and other projects as needed.
  • To track and complete work orders, maintaining accurate records and logs throughout the process.
  • To perform routine clerical duties, such as data entry and paperwork, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • To co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • To co-ordinate the traffic flow of supplies, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines effectively.
  • To compile worksheets and specifications of orders, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.
  • To consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost- and time-efficient manner, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • To project manage tasks and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and meeting expectations.
  • To maintain vehicle operator work records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • To schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and resource allocation.
  • To organize and maintain inventory, conducting regular audits and implementing strategies to minimize stock discrepancies.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
    • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as business administration or logistics.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with highway trucking regulations and procedures, including safety protocols and documentation requirements.
