Nurse Practitioner Position in Bella Coola

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Bella Coola. As a primary care provider, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and clients, including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including health care management and therapeutic interventions.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions.
- Collaborate with clients and other health professionals to identify and assess trends and patterns that impact client care.
- Develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health outcomes and participate in policy-making and quality improvement activities.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Four (4) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
