Job Title: Attendant for Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Attendant for Persons with Disabilities at BAR. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and grocery shopping
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care
Work Environment:

Our clients reside in a non-smoking environment, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
