Job Title: Millwright Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at Professional Valve Service. As a Millwright Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Basic security clearance

Work Environment:

  • At heights
  • Noisy
  • Odours
  • Confined spaces
  • Dusty

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

  • Hydraulic system
  • Lathes and other machining tools
  • Pumps and compressors
  • Tool grinders
  • Welding equipment
  • Hand tools

Area of Specialization:

  • Bearing, seals and packing
  • Specialty welding
  • Stainless steel welding

Security and Safety:

  • Bondable
  • Basic security clearance

Transportation/Travel Information:

  • Willing to travel
  • Valid driver's licence

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Overtime required
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
