About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team at Fine Glass & Shower Doors as a Carpentry Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our carpentry team in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials from vehicles and equipment.
  • Earthwork and Grading: Help level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Site Cleanup: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, following established procedures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment, as well as work in various weather conditions.
