About the Position
We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student Canada-Transco in St. Claude, MB. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and security of students on board, including assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
