We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Real Estate Advisor to join our team at Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a key member of our Real Estate Services team, you will play a critical role in providing brokerage and advisory services related to government-owned property.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and present financial and investment management strategies to senior management.
- Conduct complex socio-economic/financial research and program evaluation related to innovative concepts/approaches to acquisition, disposition, or leasing a broad/diverse portfolio of assets.
- Attend meetings with PSPC, Central Agencies, and OGDs, and make presentations on the economic implications of policies, standards, and regulations impacting specific real property and capital projects.
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology, or statistics.
- Experience in preparing analysis and recommendations for Senior Management or stakeholders.
- Graduation with a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Urban Planning.
- Possession of a Canadian professional urban planning, finance, or accounting designation.
- Experience reviewing policies, legislation, publications, or economic plans.
- Experience negotiating real estate transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, or leases.
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, and translation to other government departments, agencies, and boards.
Our team works in the office three days a week, enjoys branch teaming days, social events, and the opportunity to work hard and achieve results.
