Job Description

VSG Landscaping and Renovation is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints and specifications
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts
  • Determine weldability of materials
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment

Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a dusty and noisy environment.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. You must also be willing to relocate and have a basic security clearance.

Hours of Work: You will work 35 hours per week.
