We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Light Duty Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Darwin Gadioma. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as operating rooms and other areas.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and perform laundry duties.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on facilities and amenities to clients.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset; or equivalent experience.
  • Criminal record check required.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, and walking involved.

Personal Suitability:

  • Punctuality and reliability essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Client focus and initiative necessary.

Salary:$40,000 - $50,000 per year.
