Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat for retail sale, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Grind meats
  • Slice cooked meats
  • Prepare special orders
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be accurate, dependable, and possess excellent oral communication skills.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
