We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Nurse Specialist to join our healthcare team in the Northwest Territories. As a key member of our interdisciplinary health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our community.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $83,000 - $109,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients, taking medical histories, and consulting with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Advise patients on health care and provide education on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Examine patients and take their medical histories, and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the province/territory of work.
  • 5 years or more of experience in primary care nursing.
