Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Simdar Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Facilities Support: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Repetitive Tasks: This role involves repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Physical Demands: The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
