Woodworking Specialist

At Impulse Drywall Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints and determining work requirements, preparing layouts in accordance with building codes, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as supervising other workers and preparing cost estimates. The work environment will require the ability to bend, crouch, kneel, handle heavy loads, and work long hours. The successful candidate will be required to work 35 to 40 hours per week and will be expected to communicate effectively in English.
