About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Mac's Auto Electric. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools, fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, and maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise dimensions.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers, to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality finishes.
  • Dependability and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Steel-toed safety boots and tools.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Accurate and reliable.
Language and Work Hours

The work language is English, and the work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
