At Safe Unlimited Masonry Inc., we're seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you'll be responsible for laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units to create sturdy structures. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately will ensure a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lay bricks and other masonry units to construct chimneys, fireplaces, and other structural features.
  • Cut and trim bricks to specification using hand and power tools.
  • Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles or other masonry units.
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Operate in a team environment with regular communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in the masonry trade.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Permanent employment with a 30-hour workweek.
  • English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a bricklayer or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
