About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our IT team at Co-operators. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for liaising between business stakeholders and the IT team to deliver functionality enhancements and new developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate discussions with business partners to collect, document, and validate detailed analysis of business functions, rules, and processes.
  • Guide the assessment and selection of technical design solutions, acting as an intermediary between the team and business stakeholders.
  • Perform detailed data analysis, data modeling, mapping, and flow to support system functionality, integrations, and conversations.
  • Develop the user acceptance test plan, strategies, and lead the overall testing activities for medium to large initiatives.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) practice through research, devising improvements, establishing more efficient processes, and providing guidance to other team members.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Completed post-secondary education in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile practices, SDLC methodologies, processes, and tools, as well as project planning methodologies and Lean process improvement tools and techniques.
  • ITIL V3 or V4 foundation certification is an asset.
