Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at STAR LINK SERVICES. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, maintaining patient records, and performing various tasks related to patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain inventory of supplies to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting nutrition and hydration
- Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere
- Transport patients between care facilities, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, responding promptly and professionally
- Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas, following established procedures
- Criminal record check to ensure a safe working environment
- Efficient interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Organized approach to manage tasks and responsibilities
- Reliability to ensure consistent and high-quality patient care
- Team player to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment
- The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong understanding of patient care principles and practices
- Permanently employed position with 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and opportunities for growth and development
- Language of work: English
$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
