We are seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Surface Design Engineer to join our engineering team.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing aesthetically pleasing and technically sound surface systems for our recreational vehicles. Your work will have a major impact on the design, development, and validation of various surface systems.

As a Senior Vehicle Surface Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and modeling aesthetic parts with complex surfaces and technical drawings (GD&T) during the development of the vehicle from prototype phase to production launch.
  • Supporting the workshop in the assembly, testing, and validation of prototype vehicles.
  • Actively participating in the configuration of vehicle hardware.
  • Collaborating with designers and engineers in the design and development of new parts, systems, and vehicles.
  • Collaborating with various suppliers and the design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams.

This role requires strong skills and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A technical college diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering, or relevant design experience.
  • A good understanding of mechanics and 3D visualization.
  • Experience in 3D modeling and surface design.
  • The ability to use software such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
  • The ability to communicate well in English and French (written and spoken).
  • A desire to take on challenges as part of a team.
  • Strong interest in finding creative solutions to problems that arise and being recognized for creativity.
