The Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Expense Operations team for a six-month contract period.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the daily operations of centralized global expense processing for CPP Investments in accordance with policies and procedures.
  2. Actively participate in the organization-wide roll out for the Source-to-Pay project.
  3. Coordinate with third-party accounting service providers to ensure accounting records are accurately reflected for outsourced CPP Investments' global offices.
  4. Manage general ledger accounting functions, including variance analysis, preparation and/or review of journal entries (accruals, reclass and adjustments), and reconciliations of general ledger balances.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent, with a professional accounting designation preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials and 3-way matching invoice processing is an asset.
