About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forestry Coordinator to join our team at CCI Inc. As a key member of our forestry operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of field staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regen surveys, forest inventory measurements, and survival/establishment surveys, as well as data collection and silviculture programs.
  • Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to ensure accurate project scope and timely completion.
  • Manage the work schedule and time for field staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed within budget and to the required standard.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to onsite staff, subcontractors, and other parties, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Environmental education with ability to register with the AAFMP.
  • 2-5 years experience in the forest industry, with a strong understanding of forestry operations and practices.
  • Ability to work independently in the outdoors, with a valid Alberta driver's license.
  • Standard First Aid & CPR, ATV Safety Training, and H2S Alive certifications.
  • Knowledge of Esri-based field and office products, with experience in timber cruising, silviculture surveying, and FireSmart.
