About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in Generative AI and OpenAI to join our dynamic team at Intact Financial Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, testing, and integrating AI models into various applications. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, excellent programming skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement generative AI models using Python and OpenAI technologies.
  • Design and execute testing protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI models.
  • Benchmark AI models to evaluate their performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Integrate AI models into various applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Python programming and developing AI models.
  • Expertise in OpenAI technologies and generative AI models.
  • Strong knowledge of testing AI models and benchmarking techniques.
  • Experience with integrating AI models into applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with other programming languages/Framework such as Java, VueJS, Angular, ReactJS or NodeJS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of data science and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
