The Phoenix Drug & Alcohol Recovery and Education Society is a dynamic organization dedicated to helping individuals overcome mental health and substance use challenges.

We are seeking a qualified Registered Clinical Therapist to join our team and provide counseling and support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use issues, providing counseling and support services to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
  • Develop client care plans, recovery maintenance plans, and relapse prevention plans in collaboration with clients and the integrated addiction services team.
  • Maintain accurate client records and reports, and ensure that all required documentation is complete and on time.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in counselling and registration with BCACC.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in community social services sector and working with marginalized populations, substance use services, mental health, corrections, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the population health framework, social determinants of health, the biopsychosocial model of addiction, and concurrent disorders.

Salary Range: $42.27 - $52.81 per hour.
