Mechanical Trades Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Trades Technician to join our team at Ontario Power Generation.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading energy company in Canada. As a Mechanical Trades Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical systems, including industrial machinery and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery
• Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure it is operating safely and efficiently
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with mechanical systems
• Collaborating with other tradespeople and technical staff to resolve complex problems

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid apprenticeship training in industrial mechanics and maintenance technology
• Experience working with complex mechanical systems and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
