Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 1648841 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation, including tarping and securing loads as needed.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, cargo handling, and other relevant activities.
  • Transportation and Travel: Operate company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Certifications and Licenses: DZ class license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced logistics environment, with regular exposure to varying weather conditions.
