Job Summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement local area and wide area networks, ensuring high levels of security, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide technical support and perform maintenance on network hardware and equipment, including routers and switches.
  • Monitor and report on network performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize network efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and changes.
  • Manage external service providers and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry standards, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our network infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance, with a focus on enterprise environments.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical analyst/network specialist role, supporting Cisco equipment and software.
  • Experience with Sonic Operating System on Dell or other hardware.
  • Strong understanding of IP networks, Cisco Networking Products, and data center design and security principles.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
