Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Goodall Transport Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safety and security of cargo, and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Cargo Management: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and inspecting vehicles.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Logistics: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, sitting, flexibility, organized, reliability.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, reliability.
