Duties and Responsibilities
As a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, and insufficient lubrication. You will also find the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production, advise when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary, and troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment. Additionally, you will assemble or align gears, bearings and shafts involving the application of press, sliding and running fits, change, set up and adjust equipment as required by current operating conditions, interpret drawings and sketches, dismantle, clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, assemble, and lubricate mechanical equipment, prepare work orders and records activities in CMMS, and perform routine layout work, fabrication or repair of steel structures and components.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work in a team and with other trades, and basic computer experience.
