About the Opportunity
">West Parry Sound Health Centre is seeking a skilled Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Reporting to the Manager of Laboratory Services and Medical Imaging, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting diagnostic laboratory tests, as well as other tasks and duties associated with this role.
">About You
">- You must have completed a recognized General Medical Laboratory Technologist program
- Current active, practicing registration with CMLTO
- Previous experience in Laboratory Technology doing general work in all areas
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Effective organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to laboratory programs
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and accreditation standards
- Demonstrated excellent attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references
