About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our restaurant meets the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Coordinate Restaurant Staff
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff who prepare and serve food and beverages
- Ensure that staff are trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service
- Inventory Management
- Evaluate and order ingredients and supplies as needed
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize profitability
- Financial Management
- Manage cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Monitor and control labor costs, inventory costs, and other expenses
- Quality Control
- Ensure that food and beverages meet quality and safety standards
- Monitor and address any quality control issues
- Team Development
- Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset
- Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
