Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team at Kravings Diner Inc. as a key member of our food and beverage services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patrons, presenting menus, making recommendations, and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Order Taking: Take orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Payment Processing: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and record sales.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Special Needs Assistance: Assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
