Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Prosecution Lawyer to join our team in the Western Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting prosecutions, advising law enforcement agencies, and providing legal advice and assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of the prosecution process, competence in criminal procedures, evidence, and substantive criminal law. A minimum of one year of significant criminal litigation experience is required. You must also be a practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society or eligible to become so.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $4,100-$6,300 bi-weekly. The Government of Nova Scotia offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined benefit pension plan, health and dental insurance, and employee and family assistance programs.
