Pharmacy Director

About the Role:

This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy Operations and is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, dispensing, and control of medications to patients. Key responsibilities include supervising and guiding staff, ensuring adequate inventory levels, and providing excellent patient care through friendly, positive, and proactive interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and provide guidance to staff members
• Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and supplies
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and timely
• Counsel patients on new and additional medications
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient engagement and satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to achieve departmental goals
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacists license
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulations
