We are seeking a skilled Furniture Decorator to join our team at Van Gogh Designs Furniture Ltd. As a Furniture Decorator, you will be responsible for decorating wood surfaces, applying lacquer or other sealers, and making minor repairs to furniture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate finishing machines or finish furniture by hand
  • Apply lacquer or other sealers to wood surfaces
  • Decorate wood surfaces to enhance their appearance
  • Clean, polish, and wax furniture to maintain its finish
  • Sand metal furniture to prepare it for finish and spray with paint or other materials
  • Strip old finish from wood surfaces
  • Make minor repairs to furniture as needed
Work Environment:

As a Furniture Decorator, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a team environment
  • Will train
