Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team working across Powell River, Bella Bella, and Bella Coola in BC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adult clients with communication and swallowing disorders.

About the Role
You will work without general supervision to provide clinical assessments, complete client reports, educate clients/family members, provide counseling and consultation, and present lectures. Additionally, you will participate in interdisciplinary team rounds, risk management, research, and provide leadership to new employees and Speech-Language Pathology students.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have current full registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia, three years of recent related speech language practice dealing with adults with acquired communication disorders and dysphagia, and demonstrated ability to perform clinical assessments either in person or via virtual electronic/computerized methods. You should also possess a valid B.C. Driver's License as local area travel requires the use of a vehicle, for which mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with the current collective agreement.
