Lead In-House Lawyer for Construction Companies

We're working with a group of construction companies in Western Canada, part of a multinational parent company, seeking an experienced in-house legal counsel to support their operations.

You'll be working directly with the leaders of the businesses in Alberta and BC, providing advice on bid processes, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, and managing external lawyers on disputes.

With a strong construction/infrastructure legal background and 5-7 years of post-call experience, this is a great opportunity to be the lead lawyer for these businesses across Alberta and BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on bid processes and commercial contracts
  • Negotiate and draft contracts
  • Manage external lawyers on disputes
  • Work closely with business leaders in Alberta and BC

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a group of construction companies in Western Canada, providing legal support and guidance to their operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong construction/infrastructure legal background
  • 5-7 years of post-call experience
