Android Mobile Software Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Software Engineer II to join our team and lead the design and development of a brand new Amplitude product for Android and iOS platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reducing friction in the data setup experience, from SDK integration to building the first chart within Amplitude.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop features for Android and iOS platforms
- Reduce friction in the data setup experience
- Write and test code in multiple programming languages
- Provide technical customer support
- Write developer documentation
- Extend CI/CD to automate the build process, testing, and deployment of SDKs
We are looking for a talented engineer with experience building SDKs or libraries for mobile platforms (Android, iOS). Familiarity with building apps for iOS and Android using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter is a must. Additionally, experience shipping libraries with elegant APIs used broadly within your company or externally as OSS is highly desirable.
