Job Description

The HART Hub Supportive Housing team will operate a 12-bed transitional housing program aimed at addressing critical health and social needs in our community. The Addiction Counsellor will provide group and individual addiction counselling as well as case management to program participants.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct substance use assessments and program screenings
  • Develop treatment plans collaboratively with participants
  • Provide individual and group counselling
  • Assess complex situations and make decisions under pressure
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to agency and legislative requirements
Requirements

We're looking for a qualified and compassionate professional who shares our values and mission. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in Counselling, Social Work or a related field
  • Professional registration as a Social Worker or Psychotherapist
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an addiction and/or counselling setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
