About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural REVIT Modeler to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for preparing structural drawings and details from conception to final design, adhering to established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare structural drawings and details for a wide variety of steel and concrete structures, including shallow and deep foundations, transit stations, treatment plants, and more.
  • Work in various procurement strategies, such as Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build environments, to advance structural design packages.
  • Mentor and supervise junior and developing technicians.
  • Follow BIM Execution Plan and BIM project requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide support and training to junior and developing technicians on project BIM standards and procedures.
  • Adhere to GHD BIM standards and procedures, implementing compliance on the project level.
  • Provide input into BIM scope, schedule, and budget when required.
  • Quantity take-offs.
  • Produce consistent, high-quality structural deliverables.
  • Communicate with structural leads, designers, and project team members to ensure an effective and timely flow of project information.
Requirements
  • Technician/Technologist with a Civil Engineering Technology diploma and a background in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • 8 years of design/drafting standards, practice, and techniques experience.
  • Superior attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of the level of effort required to complete the work.
  • Positive attitude, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High competency/expertise in REVIT and BIM Collaboration tools.
