Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Display Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility of display concepts, considering practicality, aesthetics, budget, production methods, and brand characteristics. You will create innovative development solutions that are on-brand, functional, sustainable, cost-effective, and manufacturable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop display solutions that meet customer specifications, including load calculations, single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams for power distribution.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to assist with design projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide engineering support to design engineering and R&D, and coordinate with sales leads, customers, and installers regarding specification and design questions and clarifications.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for a Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) license.
  • Extensive experience working with electrical lighting power systems and standard electrical testing and measuring equipment, with a strong understanding of Electrical Safety Procedures, NEC and IEEE Codes, CSA and UL.
  • Advanced experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, as well as coding in common applications such as Visual Basic, Python, C++, and Java.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage competing deadlines, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
