Job Title: Materials Handler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our team at Whitehorse Home Hardware Building Centre.

About the Role:

The Materials Handler will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent physical abilities, including manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks and shelves
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure prompt and efficient order fulfillment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
