A highly experienced and visionary leader is required to oversee the delivery of Aviva Canada's operations net zero commitment. This individual will provide strategic vision and roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality across Aviva Canada's operations, supply chain, and procurement by 2040.
The Operations Carbon Neutral Lead will be responsible for managing a comprehensive program aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainability within Aviva Canada's operational sites. This involves creating and implementing robust decarbonization plans, aligning property strategy and business-as-usual site management with these goals.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sustainability and supply chain management, as well as formal project management qualifications. They will possess excellent leadership skills, effective risk and issue management abilities, and a deep understanding of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.
