About the Role:
An Instrumentation Systems Engineer is required to join our client's team in Fort Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems within a petrochemical facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance and calibration of instrumentation equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all instrumentation systems.Diagnose and repair instrumentation and control system malfunctions.Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.Maintain accurate records of all instrumentation work, including maintenance logs, calibration records, and repair reports.Prepare and submit detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.Lead or support instrumentation design initiatives, ensuring integration with existing systems and compliance with operational requirements.Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in instrumentation and control systems are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation within the petrochemical or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI.
- Experience in instrumentation design within an operating facility.
- Proficiency in the Management of Change (MOC) process, including documentation and implementation of changes.
