Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a background in municipal land development and infrastructure to join our Saskatoon or Regina team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to lead projects, plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of civil projects, including infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a variety of projects, including infrastructure upgrades and subdivision developments, from design to construction.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and designers to deliver preliminary to detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Carry out estimates of project costs, analysis and calculations, design review, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentation.
- Build business relationships with current and potential clients, interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
- Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or industrial systems engineering (other disciplines encouraged to apply if practicing Civil Engineering).
- Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan will be considered an asset.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in municipal engineering and project management.
- Experience in materials testing (soils, concrete) and/or structural design and analysis is an asset.
- Experience in hydraulic analysis and design and/or process-mechanical design is also considered an asset.
