Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain work space to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components to restore vehicles to their original condition
- File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired to ensure a smooth finish
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting to ensure a precise and even coat
- Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers to restore the vehicle's original shape
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place to ensure a secure and durable repair
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces to match the original color and finish
- Repair or replace interior components to restore the vehicle's original condition
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams to ensure a seamless repair
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to restore the vehicle's original shape
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
