We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Specialist to join our team at The Universal Group. As a Lane Closure Operations Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our team members, clients, and the public on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Set Up and Takedown Worksites
  • Protect Team Members and Clients with a Focus on Safety
  • Direct Other Traffic Control Personnel on-Site
  • Complete and Sign Off on Pre-Job Paperwork, Including FLRA's and TMP's
  • Communicate Effectively with Drivers, Crews, and Fellow Traffic Control Personnel
  • Ensure a Safe Return Home to Family Members

Requirements
  • Minimum 6 Months of BC LCT Experience
  • Current TCP Certification Recognized by WorkSafeBC or Equivalent Provincial Regulator
  • Driver's License with a Clean Driving Record
  • Possession of and Ability to Use a Smartphone with a Data Plan
  • Availability to Work Monday-Friday for Different Shift Times
  • Comfortable with the Physical Demands of the LCT Role
