About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Apprentice Cook to join our team at Sushi Mi. As an Apprentice Cook, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our experienced chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong desire to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate our busy kitchen environment.
