Job Title: Orthophoniste Speech Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the Central Québec School Board. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for detecting and evaluating speech, language, and hearing problems in students, and developing and implementing effective therapy plans to address these issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detect and evaluate speech, language, and hearing problems in students
• Develop and implement effective therapy plans to address speech, language, and hearing problems
• Collaborate with other health specialists to determine and apply appropriate reeducation therapy
• Participate in case studies with multidisciplinary teams to address pedagogical implications
• Establish close contacts with parents, teachers, and other individuals involved in the student's care

Qualifications:

• Member of the Professional Corporation of Speech Therapists and Audiologists of Quebec
• Or possess a bachelor's degree with an appropriate specialty such as speech therapy or audiology

Working Conditions:

This is a regular full-time position (100%) with a Northern Allowance, subsidized housing, and travel and cargo allowance.
