Physician Services Director

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Services Manager to join our team at Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall administrative leadership and management of regional physician services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the negotiation, preparation, implementation, and monitoring of physician and PSPO contracts.
- Ensure appropriate governance and management agreements are in place for the delivery of physician services.
- Support the SLRPSI Board Strategic plan, vision, mission, and values of regional physician services.
- Provide statistical information and reports to Physician Services Director and SLRPSI Board and SLFNHA Executive.
- Oversee OHIP billing obligations and compensation distribution while ensuring submissions are within the 3 months.
- Review and update the physician's group billing registration (B500) to ensure accuracy of changes in contract or locum statuses.
- Supervise identified positions within the areas of physician contracts and scheduling, OHIP billing, and physician accommodations.
- Liaise with communities and other organizations to ensure completion of annual physician services plan in collaboration/consultation with Director.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master of Health Administration or Business Administration.
- Minimum of Five (5) years' experience within a health-affiliated organization.
- Knowledge of First Nations' people, history, culture, health priorities, and social issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal/written, and computer communication skills.
