We are seeking an Industrial Production Specialist to join our team in Mulgrave, NS, Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest quality products are produced according to our pre-determined operations plan.

The salary for this position is estimated at around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Industrial Production Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing start-up/shut down procedures for manufacturing equipment;
  • Troubleshooting process upsets and maintaining equipment functionality;
  • Assisting in LOTOTO application for maintenance preparation;
  • Calculating and adding materials into machines based on formula calculations;
  • Communicating with team members to meet shift requirements;
  • Adhering to safety regulations, site policies, and GMP/GDP requirements.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, rotating through day and night shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You must be able to lift 60 pounds and have high manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent;
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably;
  • The ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
  • The ability to lift 60 pounds;
  • High manual dexterity and good mechanical and technical aptitude;
  • Close attention to detail, computer knowledge, problem-solving techniques, and basic math skills.
