About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive and Welding Fabricator to join our team at Procor Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs on tank cars, including brake tests, general running repairs, valve replacement/rebuilding, and more. As a key member of our Oakville repair facility, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

About Us:

Procor Limited is a leading railcar repair solutions provider in North America. With an extensive network of 27 repair locations across the country, we manage a fleet of over 30,500 special purpose tank and freight cars. Our goal is to deliver high-quality services to our customers while providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

- Perform tank car repairs, including brake tests, general running repairs, valve replacement/rebuilding, and tank car cleaning
- Conduct tank car re-qualification and jacking of railcars
- Switch railcars and perform confined space entry
- Modify top fittings and adhere to health and safety standards
- Participate in other related duties as required

Requirements:

- At least [X] years of experience in automotive and welding fabrication
- Successful completion of four position fillet weld test: Vertical 3 G, Horizontal 2G, Overhead 4G, (plate thickness: 1/8 inch)
- WHMIS training and experience dealing with hazardous commodities
- NDT skills such as PLI, MPI, UTT, BLT would be an asset
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license and eligibility to work in Canada
